To make your selection (State ORP or SCRS), you must complete the online enrollment process through the South Carolina Public Employee Benefit Authority (PEBA) or complete a Retirement Plan Enrollment form (Form 1100) regardless of the plan you select.
To complete the online enrollment process, you will need to provide a valid email address to your employer who will initiate the enrollment process. Enrollment through PEBA, including service provider selection when choosing State ORP, must take place within 30 days of your initial hire date. PEBA will provide your selected service provider with basic enrollment information; however, you will need to provide direction on how you want your contributions invested and designate a beneficiary for your State ORP account balance.
Once you have completed the above steps and selected State ORP with Corebridge Financial, find your employer from the list below and follow the prompts to select your investments and designate beneficiaries.
