Calculators that help you understand your current financial outlook
72(t) Calculator
Use this calculator to determine your allowable 72(t)/(q) distribution and how it may be able to help fund your early retirement. (Internal Revenue Code sections 72(t) and 72(q) provide for tax-penalty-free early withdrawals from retirement accounts under certain circumstances. These provisions can allow you to begin receiving money from your retirement accounts before you reach age 59½ generally without the normal 10% federal early withdrawal tax penalty. Note that the IRS rules regarding 72(t)/(q) distributions are complex, we recommend you consult with a financial professional when considering these decisions.
Social Security Calculator
Use this calculator to help you estimate your Social Security benefits. Note, this calculator helps provide an estimate and your actual benefits may vary.
Roth IRA Calculator
This calculator provides an estimate of the balance in your Roth IRA account. Remember, there is no tax deduction for contributions made to a Roth IRA; however, all future earnings could be sheltered from taxes, and qualified distributions are tax free, under current tax laws.
RMD & Stretch IRA Calculator
As you may know, the IRS requires that you withdraw at least a minimum amount, known as the Required Minimum Distribution (RMD), from your retirement account annually; starting the year you turn age 72 (if born before 7/1/1949, age 70½). Use this calculator to help determine how you can stretch out your payments for as long as possible.
